Where do we belong
The everyone you love, the every one you know
The every human being, every tiny birth
Is just a grain of sand in universal flow
On the blue planet called Earth

In the place we call home we see a million stars
We launch the shuttles to discover space
Science teaches us how to lead our lives
We made up a time to count the days
In the valleys by the rivers we build towns
And then we run away from them, because of life
We search ourselves somewhere in the mountain browns
Having lived like this and never being alive
We build skyscrapers to reach the sky
To find the gods, to be the lords
We paint landscapes to please our eyes
And some may find their names on honor boards
We made up countries to devide the world
And formed alliances afterwards
We make up the rules and start the wars
To later enter into peace accords
Above the clouds in dizzy heights
We travel faster then a speed of sound
Between the mountains in the northern lights
And then again we descend to the ground
And like the mice we spin a wheel
We do not give up, despite the odds
To be destroyed against our will
By the same people with life in airpods
While searching for life balance, when go high
We fall in love, make children, tame the dogs
Without noticing how the life flies by
Until read about known names in necrologue

Is this the place we used to love?
Is this the place that I've been dreaming of
Oh, simple thing, where have you gone?
I'm gettin' old, and I need something to rely on
